Night Works

Decagon Gallery is an online photography gallery that runs themed juried calls. Night Works is the gallery's call for photography made after dark — work where night functions as an active collaborator rather than just a setting.

The framing distinguishes the call from generic 'night photography' competitions: the brief asks for images where the conditions of darkness shape what the photograph is about, not just what's visible.

Top prize is $500. Selected work is shown in an online exhibition on the gallery's site.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through the gallery's website with 1–8 images. Fee is tiered $10–$25. The 2026 deadline was March 31; results announced April 15, 2026.
