Monochrome

Curated international group exhibition of monochromatic photography — not limited to black and white but including sepia, cyan and other single-colour tonal ranges, where the absence of a colour range carries meaning as a deliberate artistic choice rather than a technical necessity. Curated by Zsolt Bátori (PhD; founder/director of PH21 Gallery, Photolucida board member) and Borbála Jász (art historian). One Curator's Choice winner receives three complimentary entries to future PH21 themed calls, and up to three honourable mentions are announced. Reduced rates of €15 (early bird) or €20 apply for students, unwaged applicants and those from low-income economies. Early bird deadline September 7, final deadline September 14. Exhibition at PH21 Gallery in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, November 14 – December 8, 2026.
