Momentum

Annual juried show at GearBox Gallery in Oakland celebrating the impetus and driving force of the evolving Northern California art scene, across all genres and media including photography. Juror: Demetri Broxton, executive director of Root Division, San Francisco. Two artists are selected for future shows — a two-person exhibition in the Main Gallery and a solo exhibition in the Inner Room Gallery. Open to Northern California artists (Fresno and north), 21 and over; work made within the last four years. Exhibition runs August 20 – September 19, 2026.
