Masterclasses Program 2026/2027

PhMuseum is a photography-focused educational platform offering online masterclasses, mentorship programs, and competitions. The 2026/2027 Masterclasses Program runs five distinct online masterclasses from October 2026 through May 2027 — an eight-month structured cohort program with a different focus and instructor for each track.

The five masterclasses for 2026/2027: CRITICAE — Documentary Photography, led by Aaron Schuman (photographer and writer). IDEA — Conceptual Thinking, led by Charlie Engman (photographer). CURAE — Artistic Development, led by Erik Kessels (curator and publisher, who has worked across major photobook projects). MEDIAE — Transmedia Storytelling, led by Salvatore Vitale (photographer and editor). FOLIO — Photobook Making, led jointly by Vasantha Yogananthan (photographer) and Cécile Poimbœuf-Koizumi (publisher).

Each masterclass operates as a separate cohort with its own application — applicants choose one track. The format is online and structured around cohort-based learning with selected practitioners working alongside the lead instructor across the program duration.

Specific fees and participant numbers are not published on the program landing page; applicants need to consult the linked masterclass pages for current details. Early-bird and scholarship applications close April 30, 2026; regular applications close May 28, 2026.
