Joy and the Everyday 2026

Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is a nonprofit photography membership organization in Atlanta, Georgia. Joy and the Everyday is one of its 2026 themed juried exhibitions — a brief asking how photographers capture joy in ordinary moments rather than staged celebration.

The 2026 juror is Emilia Mickevicius, Ph.D., Norton Family Assistant Curator of Photography at the Center for Creative Photography (CCP) at the University of Arizona, Tucson — one of the major US photography research collections.

Twenty-four images are selected for print exhibition in APG's Maloof Gallery, running June 16 – July 17, 2026.

Eligibility requires APG membership. Scholarships are available for applicants who can't cover the membership and entry fee. Submission is through APG's website with 2–8 images. Fee is tiered $35–$95 by submission level. The 2026 deadline was May 1; results announced May 9, 2026.
