Fresh Squeezed 2026 Annual Juried Show

The Suffolk Art League's annual juried exhibition at the Suffolk Art Gallery in Suffolk, Virginia, marking the league's 50th anniversary and asking for artists' latest, never-before-seen work. Open to artists over 18 in all mediums: the gallery's own listing rules out only video and audio, though the CaFÉ entry also excludes digital, so anyone printing digitally is worth checking with first. Work must not have been previously exhibited at the gallery and must have been completed within the last two years. Members submit up to three works for $30; non-members pay $55 and full-time student non-members $50, both of which include an individual membership. First place is $500 plus the opportunity to present a one-person show at the Suffolk Art Gallery in 2027, with $300 second and $200 third. 2D work must be framed, wired or gallery-wrapped — no sawtooth hangers — and 3D work is displayed on pedestals provided by the gallery. Notifications by 25 September; exhibition runs 24 October – 4 December 2026. The league retains a 30% consignment on works sold.
