Focus 2026 — Atlanta Photography Group
Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is a long-standing nonprofit photography organization in Atlanta, Georgia, with its own gallery on Piedmont Avenue. Focus is APG's open-themed juried members' exhibition, programmed annually to recognize work by Georgia photographers.
The 2026 juror is Anne Leighton Massoni, Executive Director of the Houston Center for Photography, who selects from across the open-themed submissions without a prescribed subject. Eligibility is restricted to APG members who are based in Georgia, and to artists whose work hasn't appeared in APG's Main or Maloof galleries within the past three years.
Selected work is exhibited July 21 through August 21, 2026 at the APG gallery at 1544 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, with an opening reception on July 23. The top award is the $1,000 APG / Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia Purchase Award, with the winning work entering MOCA GA's permanent collection.
Entries accept 2 to 8 images. Fees scale by submission window: $35–$75 early (May 7–15), $40–$85 regular (May 16–31), $50–$95 late (June 1–5), with reduced student rates of $30–$70. The deadline is June 5, 2026 at midnight Eastern.
