#filmisnotdead 2026
Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is a nonprofit photography membership organization in Atlanta, Georgia. #filmisnotdead is APG's annual analog-only juried exhibition — a process-restricted brief that excludes digital capture entirely.
Eligible processes include film, wet plate, cyanotype, and other analog techniques. There is no thematic prompt — subject matter is open. The brief is purely about how the photograph was made.
The 2026 juror is Michael Behlen, founder and publisher of Analog Forever Magazine — a publication dedicated to analog and alternative-process photography.
Thirty images are selected for print exhibition in APG's Main Gallery, running June 16 – July 17, 2026. Eligibility requires APG membership; scholarships are available.
Submission is through APG's website with 2–8 images. Fee is tiered $35–$95. The 2026 deadline was May 1; results announced May 9, 2026.
