Fast Forward: Analog Photography as a Third Space
Fast Forward: Analog Photography as a Third Space is an exhibition open call from Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP). The brief frames photography itself as a third space — a social and physical environment for camaraderie and interaction, alongside its function as image production.
The call is process-restricted: analog-only submissions. Darkroom prints and experimental work welcome. AI-generated work is not accepted.
Selection is by Aline Smithson (Founder & Editor, Lenscratch) and Rotem Rozental (Executive Director & Chief Curator, LACP).
Eligibility is restricted to analog photography work. Submission is through Submittable with up to 35 images. Fee is tiered $25–$200 by submission scale. The 2026 deadline was March 24; results announced March 27, 2026.
