Ephemere Photo Journal Vol. 2 — Triplicities

Ephemere Photo Journal is published by Ephemere in Tokyo. Volume 2 is themed Triplicities: The Magic of Three. The brief structures the theme through three sub-prompts: Time's Arrow, The Life Cycle, and The Dialectic.

The publication is text-driven photo features rather than image-only spreads. Accepted formats include personal essays, critical essays, photo-poetry, philosophical explorations, interviews, and reviews — text and image working together.

The journal is printed as a collectible large-format newsprint publication produced in Japan. Shortlisted authors work directly with editors in a collaborative editing process — selection isn't final-only; the editorial dialogue is part of the program.

Each selected contributor receives ¥10,000 plus publication.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through Google Form with 5–10 images in a single PDF. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was March 31; results announced April 2026.
