Color/less — Cambridge Photography Gallery

Cambridge Photography Gallery is an online photography gallery that runs themed juried calls. Color/less is the gallery's open call dedicated to color and its absence — work where the chromatic register itself is the subject.

The brief is open in approach: soft pastels, aggressive red, B&W silhouettes, anywhere on the color spectrum. The unifying criterion is that color (or its absence) must be a key compositional or expressive element rather than incidental.

AI-generated work is not accepted.

Selected work is shown in an online exhibition running April 10–25, 2026. The fee structure is staged: free to submit, with a £15 fee charged only if work is accepted.

Submission is by email. Eligibility is open globally. The 2026 deadline was March 30.
