Call for Artists 2026

Tampa International Airport runs an active art collection program. The 2026 Call for Artists is for permanent commissions across eight new locations within the airport's terminals — diverse media including sculpture, wall-mounted art, and technology-based works.

The commission scale is unusually high: individual commissions range from $200,000 to $1.2 million, depending on the location and scope of the work.

Eligibility is restricted to professional artists. Selected work enters the airport's permanent public collection, seen by millions of travelers annually.

Submission is through CaFÉ with up to 10 images. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was March 19; results announced June 2026.
