Berlin Photo Awards 2026

Berlin Photo Awards is an international photography competition based in Berlin, with the winners' exhibition held at ERSTERERSTER Gallery in the city. The 2026 cycle accepts submissions across 30 categories spanning the breadth of contemporary photography: Portrait, Landscape, Street, Fine Art, Wildlife, Drone, Smartphone, and others.

The total prize pool is €4,000. Beyond cash, winners are exhibited at ERSTERERSTER Gallery and published in the official Berlin Photo Awards Winners Photobook — the print archive functions as the long-term record of each year's selection.

The 2026 jury includes Thomas Kakareko (photographer and creative consultant), Jorg Nicht (travel and street photographer), Ezgi Polat (creative director), Yuto Yamada (photographer and videographer), Marcello Zerletti (photographer and coach), Alina Rudya (photographer and founder of Bell Collective), Patrick Noack, and Tejasvi Gala.

Entry fee is €25 per image. AI-edited work is permitted; fully AI-generated work is not. Eligibility is open to photographers worldwide. The 2026 deadline is June 27, with results announced July 25.
