BBA Photography Prize 2026
BBA Gallery is a Berlin-based contemporary art gallery. The annual BBA Photography Prize is one of several BBA prizes across photography, painting, and sculpture. The 2026 prize is open to all levels and themes — no thematic restriction, no career-stage filter.
The first-place winner receives €1,000 plus a 2027 solo exhibition at BBA Gallery in Berlin and an Artsy profile — Artsy being the major online art marketplace. Selected work from the broader shortlist is exhibited at BBA Gallery.
The 2026 jury is built from gallery and institutional figures: Vishal Shah (Managing & Creative Director, BBA Gallery), Renata Kudlacek (Director & Curator, BBA Gallery), Cia Durante (art consultant, MA Photography, Royal College of Art), Klaus J.A. Mellenthin (photographer and filmmaker), Alexander Jöchl (Director, Samurai Museum Berlin), Hannah Weber-Heidenfels (Fair Manager, Affordable Art Fair Germany), Isabell Kohls, and Arne Anker.
Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through the BBA Prizes platform with 5 images. Fee is €59. The 2026 deadline was March 30; results announced May 20, 2026.
