Baltic Open Submission 2026

BALTIC's all-comers exhibition returns for its third edition, with up to 100 works selected for a major group show at the Gateshead gallery from September 19, 2026 to May 2027. Open to anyone based in North East England — professional, self-taught, or hobbyist, individuals and collectives alike, working in any medium, with no exhibiting experience required. One work per artist, submitted as images via Submittable by 10am on June 16. Selection panel includes artists Laura Lancaster and Rachel Lancaster; selected artists notified August 6 and announced publicly August 20.
