Art Comes Alive 2026

Seventeenth edition of ADC Fine Art's annual exhibition and awards gala, held in the gallery's 13,000 sq ft space in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine and long nicknamed the 'Academy Awards for Artists'. Around 250 living artists are shown across all mediums, photography included. What distinguishes it from a typical juried show is the award structure: ADC puts the total at over $450,000, though most of that is its own services valued in-house rather than cash — ten gallery representation contracts valued at $8,500 each, two solo shows, six group shows, print and digital magazine features and SmartSell memberships, alongside $74,100 in juror awards and $175,000 in purchase awards. The jury is drawn from ADC's own staff — president Litsa Spanos, gallery director Annie Kautz, marketing director Amy Scalia and assistant gallery director Chance Smith — with more jurors to be announced. Entry is $25 per work, with the last entry free on applications of four or more. Results are announced October 2, work arrives at the gallery by October 16, and the opening night and awards ceremony fall on November 7.
