Around, Above, Below

Group exhibition at Van Der Plas Gallery on Manhattan’s Lower East Side exploring perception and the experience of daily life as we move through urban environments, rural landscapes and the spaces in between. The show sets up a dialogue between the built environment and the natural world, asking artists to explore the balance between tension and harmony. Artists working in all media are encouraged to submit, including photography. On view 1–15 October 2026 with an opening reception on 1 October, 6–8pm. Submissions form part of the gallery’s year-round Open Call Program and remain in consideration for future exhibitions beyond this cycle.
