Abstract Visions

Artdoc Photography Magazine is the Amsterdam-based contemporary photography magazine. The Abstract Visions open call invites work that uses abstraction as a way of seeing, sensing, and surviving — abstraction as method rather than just style.

The brief favors projects communicating through atmosphere, rhythm, colour, and form rather than narrative or representation. The selection is interested in non-representational and process-driven work.

Selected work is featured in Artdoc Magazine. Eligibility requires Artdoc membership.

Submission is through the Artdoc website. Application is free for members. The 2026 deadline was March 30.
