Working Assumptions Project Grants 2026

Six $10,000 unrestricted grants awarded annually to support photography-based projects that inspire audiences to look at family in new, meaningful ways. Proposals may employ photography or photo-based art for journalistic, artistic, therapeutic, educational, or research purposes. Projects must have been initiated prior to the application deadline. Grant period runs October 2026 to June 2027. Application window opens May 1, 2026.
