Women in Nature — Artist's Commission

Photographic commission by Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration and Photo Museum Ireland highlighting the work of women in nature restoration in Ireland. €15,000 commission (including €3,000 travel bursary) for a single artist to create a series of 12 portraits of women in nature, together with photographs of the habitat they are working to restore. Outputs include exhibitions, community conversations, and a publication. Open to artists resident on the island of Ireland working in photography or lens-based media. Judged on creativity and originality (25%), technical skill and execution (20%), impact and storytelling (15%), and track record (10%). Co-financed by the EU Just Transition Fund and the Government of Ireland.
