UNSTAGED Journal — Issue 02: Eerie

Second issue of UNSTAGED, an independent photography journal dedicated to lens-based inquiries into comforting and discomforting authenticity. Issue 02, guest curated by Karla Guerrero (Mexico City-based photographer, curator, and editor active in the contemporary photography scene), explores the theme Eerie — quiet disturbance, a poetics of phantasmagoria where images silently evoke meaning. The eerie as the fleeting suggestion that something unnameable lingers just beneath what we think we see. Something quietly disturbing.
