Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 2026

One of the world's most prestigious portrait photography competitions. Open to photographers worldwide, aged 18+. Submit up to 6 portraits taken after 1 January 2025. First prize £15,000, second £3,000, third £2,000. Selected works exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London from November 2026 to January 2027. The prize celebrates contemporary portraiture, interpreting 'portrait' in its widest sense — photography concerned with portraying people with an emphasis on their identity as individuals.
