Motion

Curated international group photography exhibition exploring motion in still images. Photography cannot create the illusion of motion the way moving images can, yet photographers have developed powerful techniques for capturing and evoking it — from long exposures and motion blur to freezing split-second moments of action. PH21 Gallery invites submissions for a themed group show at their venue in Barcelona's historic Gothic Quarter. One curator's choice and up to three honourable mentions will be announced. Curator's choice receives free entry (up to 15 images) for the next PH21 exhibition. Early bird deadline April 20 at reduced rates; final deadline April 27. Special rate for students and unwaged (€15–€20). All photographers 18+ worldwide may enter with original work. Images submitted by email as JPEG, longest side max 1200px. Exhibition June 27 – July 21, 2026.
