Michael P. Smith Fund for Documentary Photography 2026

Annual grant honoring legendary New Orleans documentary photographer Michael P. Smith. Awards cash prizes and exhibition opportunities to Gulf Coast photographers whose work combines artistic excellence and a sustained commitment to a cultural documentary project. Submit 10–20 images plus project statement (530 words) and bio via CaFE (Call for Entry). Subject matter not limited to Gulf Coast region. Winners donate two prints to NOPA's permanent collection and submit a final report by August 2026.
