JGS Fellowship for Photography 2026

Annual fellowship awarding $8,000 each to five photographers working in New York State outside New York City. Supports traditional and experimental photography including light-based work, alternative processes, or any form in which photography or photographic techniques are pivotal. Applicants must be 25 or older, current full-time residents of eligible NY State regions for at least 12 months, and not enrolled in a degree-seeking programme. Past recipients are not eligible. Applications submitted via Submittable. Notification of results in summer 2026.
