ABSURIA — International Abstract & Surrealist Photography Contest 2026

First edition of a new international festival dedicated exclusively to abstract and surrealist photography. Open to amateur and professional photographers worldwide. 100 photographs selected for physical exhibition across multiple venues in Tours, Loire Valley, France from May to September 2026. Fourteen winners honoured at an awards ceremony in Tours in early May. Categories: Abstract Photography and Surrealist Photography, each with Professional and Amateur divisions plus a Young Hopefuls award. Winners receive the ABSURIA Trophy — a physical gold statuette created specifically for the contest. All nominees exhibited in 3D online galleries on the festival website. Printing costs covered by organisers. AI-generated images not accepted. Fee varies by number of works submitted: amateur €20–€40, professional €25–€50, up to 6 images per registration.
